A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked: “O Messenger of Allah, to whom should I give from the surplus of what Allah has granted me?” He replied: “Begin with your mother, then your father, then your sister, then your brother, then those closest to you and so on, and do not forget your neighbors and those in need.
