Takhrij Hadith 1173: "What did you recite in…"
Abdullah bin Mas'ud reported: That he recited into the ear of an afflicted person and he recovered, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him:
“
What did you recite in his ear? He said, I recited 'Then did you think that We created you uselessly. [Al-Mu'minun: 115] until he finished to the end of the Surah. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said 'If a man with certain faith were to recite it upon a mountain, it would move.”
