Hadith No. 119
Language:

On the authority of Muhammed bin Iyyas bin Salamah bin al-Akwa’, that his father narrated to him:

“

Salamah ibn al-Akwa‘ (may Allah be pleased with him) came to al-Madinah, and he was met by Buraydah ibn al-Husayb, who said: “Have you turned back from your migration, O Salamah?”. He replied: “Allah forbid! Rather, I am acting with permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: “Go out, O Salamah, to where the winds blow, and dwell in the mountain passes”. He said: “We feared that this might harm our migration”. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “You are migrants wherever you may be”.
