Takhrij Hadith 1213: "There was a man from…"

There was a man from among those before you who worshiped Allah for sixty years. When he died, Allah said: "Enter Paradise by My mercy." The man said: "Rather, by my deeds! I did such and such, so admit me by my deeds." When his deeds were weighed, they did not equal even the blessing of his eyesight. So he said: "By Your mercy, O Lord."
