Takhrij Hadith 1217: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"
On the authority of 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, who said:
“
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us while we were in the Suffah and said: "Which of you would like to go every morning to Buthan or al-'Aqiq and return with two large, hump-backed she-camels without committing any sin or severing any ties of kinship?" We said: "O Messenger of Allah, we would like that." He said: "Then why does one of you not go to the mosque and learn or recite two verses from the Book of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic? That is better for him than two she-camels; three verses are better for him than three, and four are better for him than four—and so on, according to their number, of camels."”
