Takhrij Hadith 1241: ""The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"
On the authority of Bilal ibn ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, that his father, ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar, said one day:
“
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Do not prevent women from their right to attend the mosques.'" I said: "As for me, I will prevent the women of my household, and whoever wishes may prevent the women of his household." My father turned to me and said: "May Allah curse you! May Allah curse you! May Allah curse you! You hear me saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded that they should not be prevented, yet you say: 'I will certainly prevent the women of my household'?" Then he wept and stood up in anger.”
