Takhrij Hadith 1320: "Five prayers Allah has prescribed…"
On the authority of Ibn Muhayriz, that a man from the tribe of Banu Kinanah known as Al-Mukhdaji heard a man in the Levant called Abu Muhammad saying: "Indeed, the Witr prayer is obligatory."Al-Mukhdaji said: So I went to 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit and informed him, whereupon 'Ubadah said: "Abu Muhammad is mistaken . I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say:
“
Five prayers Allah has prescribed upon His servants. Whoever performs them without neglecting any part of them out of disregard for their due right, will have a covenant with Allah that He will admit him into Paradise. And whoever does not perform them has no covenant with Allah; if He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will admit him into Paradise.”
