Hadith No. 134
Language:

‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Safwan, or Safwan ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Qurashi narrated:

“

When it was the day of the Conquest of Mecca, he brought his father and said: “O Messenger of Allah, grant my father a share in the migration” He said to them: “There is no migration”.They went to al-‘Abbās and he said: “Do you recognize me?” He said: “Yes”. Al-‘Abbās came out wearing a shirt without a cloak and said: “O Prophet of Allah, you have recognized so-and-so and what is between us and him. He has brought his father so that you may accept his pledge for migration”. The Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no migration”. Al-‘Abbās said: “I ask you by oath”. So the Prophet ﷺ extended his hand and touched his hand, then said: “I have honored my uncle, but there is no migration”.
