Takhrij Hadith 1359: "A man was reciting Surah…"

A man was reciting Surah Al-Kahf, and there was an animal tied up in the house that began to become restless. When he finished his prayer with the Taslim, he saw a mist—or a cloud—hovering over him. He mentioned this to the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Recite, O so-and-so, for it was tranquility descending because of the Qur'an—or descending for the Qur'an.”
