Takhrij Hadith 1368: "The Prophet ﷺ made the…"

The Prophet ﷺ made the charity of Ramadan (Zakat al-Fitr) obligatory upon every free person, slave, male, and female: one Sa‘ of dates, or one Sa‘ of barley. He [Ibn 'Umar] said: The people made half a Sa‘ of wheat equivalent to it.
