Takhrij Hadith 1395: "Whoever prays four units (rak'ahs)…"
On the authority of Ibn 'Abbas, attributing it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said:
“
Whoever prays four units (rak'ahs) after the late evening prayer ('Isha'), reciting in the first two units: {Say, "O disbelievers"} [Surah Al-Kafirun] and {Say, "He is Allah, [Who is] One"} [Surah Al-Ikhlas], and reciting in the last two units: {Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent} [Surah Al-Mulk] and {Alif, Lam, Meem. [This is] the revelation...} [Surah As-Sajdah], it will be recorded for them as equivalent to four units prayed on Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Decree).”
