The Messenger of Allah came out to us ﷺ and said: “Receive glad tidings! Receive glad tidings! Do you not bear witness that there is no god but Allah and I am the Messenger of Allah?” They replied: “Yes”. He said: “Indeed, this Qur’an is a rope; one end of it is in the Hand of Allah and the other end is in your hands. Therefore, hold fast to it, for you shall never go astray nor shall you ever perish after it”.
