Takhrij Hadith 1443: "O Allah, I ask You…"
On the authority of ‘Aisha, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught her this supplication:
“
O Allah, I ask You for all good, both that which is immediate and that which is to come, what I know of it and what I do not know. And I seek refuge in You from all evil, both that which is immediate and that which is to come, what I know of it and what I do not know. O Allah, I ask You for the good that Your servant and Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asked You for, and I seek refuge in You from the evil from which Your servant and Prophet sought refuge. O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for every word or deed that brings one closer to it, and I seek refuge in You from the Fire and from every word or deed that brings one closer to it. And I ask You to make every decree that You decree for me good.”
