Takhrij Hadith 1456: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"
On the authority of Mu‘adh, who said :
“
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ instructed me with ten commands, saying: “Do not associate anything with Allah [in worship], even if you are killed or burned. Do not disobey your parents, even if they command you to leave your family and your wealth. Do not deliberately abandon a prescribed prayer, for whoever deliberately abandons a prescribed prayer, the protection of Allah is absolved from him. Do not drink wine, for it is the root of every immorality. And beware of disobedience [to Allah]”.”
