Takhrij Hadith 154: "Why does a menstruating woman…"
It was narrated from Mu‘adhah that she said: «I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) :
“
Why does a menstruating woman make up the fast but not make up the prayer? She said: Are you a Haruriyyah (one of the Khawarij)? I said: I am not a Haruriyyah; I am only asking. She said: This used to happen to us, and we were commanded to make up the fast, but we were not commanded to make up the prayer.»”
