Takhrij Hadith 1543: "A man from among the…"
It was narrated from Ibn Umar, who said :
“
A man from among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) met me, and there was a heaviness in his tongue, so that he could hardly make his speech clear. He mentioned Uthman, so Abdullah said: By Allah, I do not know what he is saying, except that you know, O Companions of the Prophet Muhammad, that during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we used to say: Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman. It is only this wealth; if he gives it to you, you are pleased.”
