Takhrij Hadith 1611: "Which of creation amazes you…"
It was narrated from Amr ibn Shu‘ayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said :
“
Which of creation amazes you most in faith?. They said: The angels. He said: How could they not believe, when they are with their Lord, Mighty and Majestic?. They said: Then the prophets. He said: How could they not believe, when revelation descends upon them?. They said: Then us. He said: How could you not believe, when I am among you?. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, the most amazing of creation to me in faith are people who will come after you; they will find written pages containing scriptures (the Qur’an and the Sunnah), and they will believe in what is in them.”
