Takhrij Hadith 1657: "When you hear the crowing…"
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said :
“
When you hear the crowing of roosters, ask Allah from His bounty, for they have seen an angel; and when you hear the braying of a donkey, seek refuge with Allah from Satan, for it has seen a devil.”
