Takhrij Hadith 1661: "I asked ʿĀʾishah about the…"
It was narrated from ʿUrwah that he said:
“
I asked ʿĀʾishah about the grammatical irregularities in the Quran: {Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews and the Sabians}, {and those who establish prayer and give zakah}, and {Indeed, these two are magicians}. She said: O son of my sister, this was the work of the scribes; they made mistakes in the writing.”
