Takhrij Hadith 1673: "A ruqyah for a venomous…"
It was narrated from Abdullah ibn Masud that he said:
“
A ruqyah for a venomous sting was mentioned in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: Recite it to me. So I recited it to him: In the name of Allah, shajjah qarniyyah, milhah bahr, qafta. He said: These are covenants taken by Sulayman ibn Dawud (peace be upon them both), and I see no harm in it. Then a man who was with Alqamah was stung, so he treated him with it, and it was as though he had been released from a tether.”
