Takhrij Hadith 1674: "He mentioned Muawiyah ibn Abi…"
It was narrated from Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Amyrah al-Azdi, from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
“
He mentioned Muawiyah ibn Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) and said: O Allah, make him a guide to goodness and truth, rightly guided and steadfast himself, and guide people through him.”
