Takhrij Hadith 1725: "Be dutiful to your fathers,…"
It was narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“
Be dutiful to your fathers, and your children will be dutiful to you; keep yourselves chaste from the women of others, and your women will remain chaste; and whoever is offered an apology but does not accept it will not come to me at the Hawd (the Prophet’s Basin).”
