Takhrij Hadith 1785: "The Messenger of Allah (peace…"

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me one day, and I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have grown old and weak" — or as she said [similarly] — "so instruct me in a deed that I may do while seated." He said: "Glorify Allah (say Subhan Allah) a hundred times, for it is equivalent for you to a hundred slaves that you free from among the descendants of Isma'il. And praise Allah (say Alhamdulillah) a hundred times, for it is equivalent for you to a hundred saddled and bridled horses that you donate to be ridden in the path of Allah. And magnify Allah (say Allahu Akbar) a hundred times, for it is equivalent for you to a hundred sacrificial camels, garlanded and accepted [as offerings]. And declare Allah's oneness (say La ilaha illallah) a hundred times" — Ibn Khalaf said: "I think he [the narrator] said: "it fills up what is between the heaven and the earth, and on that day, no one’s deed will be raised [in reward] like yours, unless they come with the equivalent of what you have done."
