I followed the Prophet ﷺ as he went out to relieve himself . He would not turn around, so I drew close to him and he said: “Bring me some stones so that I may cleanse my private parts with them,” or words to that effect, “and do not bring me any bone or dung.” So I brought him some stones, carrying them in the hem of my garment, and placed them by his side, then went away from him. When he finished, he used them.
