Takhrij Hadith 1821: "When a great calamity occurs…"
Jabir ibn ʿAbdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“
When a great calamity occurs or a dark, stormy wind arises, hold fast to saying the takbir (Allahu Akbar); for indeed it clears away the black dust storm.”
