On the authority of Sahl ibn Saʿd (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“
A man may spend his life doing the deeds of the people of Hellfire, yet he is destined for Paradise. And a man may spend his life doing the deeds of the people of Paradise, yet he is destined for Hellfire. Indeed, deeds are judged by how they end.”
