Takhrij Hadith 191: "I came to the Messenger…"
Umm Khalid bint Khalid ibn Sa’id narrated:
“
I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with my father, and I was wearing a yellow shirt. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Sanah, sanah”. ‘Abdullah said: This means in the Abyssinian language: ‘Beautiful’ or ‘good’. She [Umm Khalid] said: Then I went to play with the Seal of Prophethood [between his shoulder blades], so my father scolded me. But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Leave her” Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “May you wear it out and replace it” then again, “May you wear it out and replace it” then again, “May you wear it out and replace it” [meaning: may you live long enough to wear the garment out and replace it with another].‘Abdullah said: "So she lived for a long time afterward__meaning because of the Prophet’s supplication for her long life”.”
