Takhrij Hadith 1924: "Four people will each present…"

Four people will each present their case and their excuse before Allah on the Day of Resurrection: a man who died during the period when no messenger had been sent to him; a man who was reached by Islam in extreme old age; a man who was deaf and unable to speak; and a man who was mentally impaired. Allah, Mighty and Majestic is He, will then send a messenger to them and say, ‘Obey him.’ The messenger will come to them and kindle a fire for them, then say, ‘Enter it.’ Whoever enters it, it will be cool and safe for him; but whoever does not, the word of punishment will befall him.
