Hadith 1970: "The jinn are of three types: one third..."

Abu Thaʿlabah al-Khushani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

“

The jinn are of three types: one third have wings with which they fly through the air; one third are snakes and dogs; and one third settle in places and then depart.

”
