Takhrij Hadith 1971: "O Allah, I ask You…"
ʿAbdullah ibn ʿUmar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say in the morning and in the evening:
“
O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in my religion, my worldly affairs, my family, and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and grant me security from my fears. O Allah, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me. And I seek refuge in Your greatness from being taken unaware from beneath me.”
