Takhrij Hadith 199: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"
Isma’il ibn ‘Ubayd ibn Rifa’ah narrated from his father, from his grandfather who said:
“
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gathered Quraysh and asked: “Is there anyone among you who is not one of you?” They replied: ‘No, except for the son of our sister, our ally, and our freed slave”. He said: “The son of your sister is one of you, your ally is one of you, and your freed slave is one of you. Indeed, Quraysh are people of truthfulness and trustworthiness; so whoever seeks to cause them to stumble, Allah will cast him into the Fire upon his face”.”
