Takhrij Hadith 1998: "The Prophet (peace and blessings…"
On the authority of Juwayriyyah bint al-Harith (may Allah be pleased with her):
“
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) left her in the morning after praying Fajr, while she was sitting in her prayer place. He then returned after the forenoon had begun, while she was still sitting there, and said: “Have you remained in the same state in which I left you?” She said: “Yes.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “After I left you, I said four phrases three times. If they were weighed against all that you have said since this morning, they would outweigh it: “Subhānallāh wa bihamdih, ‘adada khalqih, wa rida nafsih, a zinata ‘arshih, wa midāda kalimātih (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, as numerous as the number of His creation, as much as pleases Him, as weighty as His Throne, and as abundant as the ink of His words.)””
