Takhrij Hadith 2023: "We used to come to…"

We used to come to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when revelation was sent down to him, and he would speak to us. One day, he said to us: “Indeed, Allah said: We have sent down wealth so that prayer may be established and zakah may be given. If the son of Adam had a valley [full of wealth], he would wish to have a second one beside it. And if he had two valleys, he would wish to have a third beside them. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust. Then Allah accepts the repentance of whoever repents.”
