Takhrij Hadith 2040: "A man was sitting with…"
‘Amr ibn Murrah reported:
“
A man was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when another man passed by. He said: “O Messenger of Allah, I truly love this man for the sake of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Then tell him of that, for it is more enduring for affection and better for fostering love and closeness.”
