Takhrij Hadith 2044: "On the night the Messenger…"

On the night the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey (Isra') to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, when he returned, he was between the Maqam [of Ibrahim] and Zamzam, with Jibril on his right and Mika'il on his left, and they flew with him until he reached the seven heavens. When he came back, he said:"I heard glorification in the highest heavens, along with much glorification. The highest heavens glorified the One of Awesomeness, in reverent awe of the One of Loftiness, for His exaltedness: 'Glory be to the Most High, the Most Exalted,' glorified and exalted is He.”
