Takhrij Hadith 2070: "The Sunnah in the funeral…"

The Sunnah in the funeral prayer is that the imam says the takbir, then recites the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah) after the first takbir, silently to himself, then sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and makes supplication for the deceased sincerely in the [remaining] takbirs, and does not recite anything in any of them.Then he should conclude the prayer with the tasleem.
