Allah will say to the one who is receiving the lightest punishment among the people of Hellfire: “If you had everything on earth, would you offer it as ransom to save yourself?” He will say: “Yes.” He will say: “I asked you for something easier than this when you were still in the backbone of Adam: that you should not associate anything with Me. But you refused and insisted on associating partners with Me.”
