Takhrij Hadith 2109: "Death will be brought in…"

Death will be brought in the form of a black-and-white ram. Then a caller will call out: “O people of Paradise!” They will stretch their necks and look. He will say: “Do you know this?” They will say: “Yes, this is Death.” and every one of them will have seen it. Then he will call out: “O people of the Fire!” They will stretch their necks and look. He will say: “Do you know this?” They will say: “Yes, this is Death.” and every one of them will have seen it. Then it will be slaughtered. Then he will say: “O people of Paradise, eternity, and no more death! O people of the Fire, eternity, and no more death!” Then he recited: {And warn them, [O Muḥammad], of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be concluded; and [yet], they are in [a state of] heedlessness, and they do not believe.} (Quran 19:39)
