Takhrij Hadith 2124: "Whoever sees an unjust ruler…"

On the authority of al-Husayn ibn ʿAli (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“
Whoever sees an unjust ruler who deems the sacred limits of Allah permissible to violate, who breaks Allah’s covenant, who opposes the Sunna of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and who deals with the servants of Allah through sin and aggression, yet does not oppose him through either action or speech, then it is Allah’s right to admit him to the place where that ruler is admitted (the same destination in the Hereafter, namely, the punishment he deserves for his wrongdoing).
