Hadith 2137: "Whoever does not benefit from his knowledge will..."

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Ās (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“

Whoever does not benefit from his knowledge will be harmed by his ignorance. Recite the Qur’an as long as it restrains you from wrongdoing; but if it does not restrain you, then you have not truly recited it.

”
