Takhrij Hadith 2142: "Your Lord, Mighty and Majestic,…"
On the authority of ʿUqbah ibn ʿAmir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say:
“
Your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, marvels at a shepherd on the summit of a rugged mountain peak, who calls the adhan for the prayer and prays. Then Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: “Look at this servant of Mine. He calls the adhan and establishes the prayer, fearing Me. I have forgiven My servant and admitted him to Paradise.””
