Takhrij Hadith 349: "Abu Bakr had sent al-Rajjal,…"

Abu Bakr had sent al-Rajjal, and he came to him. Abu Bakr gave him his instructions and then dispatched him to the people of al-Yamamah, believing him to be truthful when he responded to him. Abu Hurairah continued: “[Years earlier] I was sitting with the Prophet ﷺ among a group in which al-Rajjal ibn ʿUnfuwah was present, and the Prophet ﷺ said: Indeed, among you is a man whose molar tooth in the Fire will be greater than Mount Uhud”.
