Takhrij Hadith 352: "Word reached ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab…"
On the authority of Nafi’, who said:
“
Word reached ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab that some people were visiting the tree under which the pledge was taken. So he gave orders regarding it, and it was cut down.”
