Takhrij Hadith 398: "Jibril (peace be upon him)…"
‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated:
“
Jibril (peace be upon him) came to the Prophet ﷺ looking sorrowful and with his head lowered. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: “Why do I see you, O Jibril, looking sad?” He replied: “I saw a scorching blast from Hell, and my spirit has not recovered from it since”.”
