Takhrij Hadith 448: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ…"

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ consulted Abu Bakr and ‘Umar regarding a matter he intended to undertake. They replied: “Allah and His Messenger know best”. He then said: “Call Mu‘awiyah for me”. When Mu‘awiyah came and stood before him, he said: “Involve him in your matter, bring him into your matter, for he is strong and trustworthy”.
