Takhrij Hadith 461: "Jibril came to me and…"

Jibril came to me and said: “O Muhammad, your Lord sends you His greetings of peace and says: Among My servants are those whose faith is only set right by wealth; if I were to make them poor, they would fall into disbelief. And among My servants are those whose faith is only set right by poverty; if I were to enrich them, they would fall into disbelief. And among My servants are those whose faith is only set right by illness; if I were to grant them health, they would fall into disbelief. And among My servants are those whose faith is only set right by good health; if I were to afflict them with illness, they would fall into disbelief ".
