Takhrij Hadith 496: "He was stationed in a…"

He was stationed in a garrison post, and people rushed in fear to the coast, then it was said: “There is no danger”. So the people returned, but Abu Hurayrah remained standing. A man passed by him and said: “What is keeping you standing, O Abu Hurayrah?” He replied: “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Standing for an hour in the path of Allah is better than standing [in prayer] on the Night of Decree at the Black Stone”.
