Takhrij Hadith 568: "Do you refrain from mentioning…"
On the authority of Mu'awiyah ibn Haydah (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“
Do you refrain from mentioning the wicked person until people come to know him? Mention him for what he is, so that people may beware of him.”
