Takhrij Hadith 611: "A cloak of fine silk…"
On the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, he said:
“
A cloak of fine silk was presented as a gift to the Prophet ﷺ, and he used to forbid [men from wearing] silk. The people were amazed by it. Thereupon, he said: “By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, the handkerchiefs of Sa’d ibn Mu’adh in Paradise are more beautiful than this”.”
