Takhrij Hadith 619: "His father gave him a…"

His father gave him a gift, and then wanted the Prophet ﷺ to witness it. The Prophet ﷺ asked: “Have you given all your children a gift like what you have given him?” He replied: “No”. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “It is your duty of right to be just among your children, just as it is their duty of right to be dutiful and good to you”.
